My name is Alayna. I have learned resilience in the face of change and found stories to be a place to call home due to my father’s military career. My love for writing has stuck with me, and I endeavor to craft clean, exciting YA Fantasy that keeps readers turning pages. While I adore full-skirted gowns, ballroom dancing, and drawing, you can also find me attempting to ride cows and wading through streams.

I know what it feels like to read a boring book.
You thought you’d like it, and you want to, but the only thing keeping you turning pages is a dogged drive to finish it just to finish it. Instead of a delightful read where you’re immersed into the world and swept along with the story, it feels like you’re slogging through mud.
I know what it feels like to look up another review on a book that looks amazing and everyone is excited about it and there’s so much gorgeous fanart for it, only to find out that it has content that I’m not okay with, and I have to give up on my hopes of reading it.
I love clean YA Fantasy stories with edge-of-your-seat suspense that makes you never want to put the book down and desperate to know the answers to the questions brought up through the story.
I’ve been impacted by stories like The Lunar Chronicles, Mistborn, and Red Queen.
This is the heart behind my writing, to craft riveting, delightful tales that are still clean.
